Q: What are the Mas Camp’s opening hours?

A: Our opening hours are Thursday – Friday: 4pm – 8pm, Saturday: 12 noon – 6pm

Q: Where can I view Pampalam’s costumes?

A: Our costumes are on display at our band house starting Friday, June 21, located at
Till Midnight Bar & Lounge, Church Gap, Jackson Main Road, St. Michael.

Q: What do I need for costume registration?

A: For registration, you need the following:
Size Information:
• Ladies: Bra Size (34A, B, C),
• Bottom Piece Size (S, M, L, XL, XXL)
• Ladies: Bottom Piece Option (Bikini, Thong, Full Coverage)
• Men: Waist Size (S, M, L, XL, XXL)

Downpayments:
50% Deposit on all costumes.

Always register online via www.pampalambarbados.com to ensure that your registration is valid.

Q: Can I order extra items with my costumes?

A: Different costumes may have different additional options. Costumes may come with options for larger headpieces, backpacks and other embellishments at an additional cost. These options will be detailing on the registration page and in the section photo galleries, along with the cost attached.

Q: How do I register to play with PAMPALAM BARBADOS?

A: PAMPALAM BARBADOS may offer a limited number of costumes for open registration, based on availability. Join our mailing list to receive regular updates on registration dates.

Q: I did not get a costume … Can I be placed on a waiting list?

A: Please log your name on our online waiting list and we will contact you if any spots become available.

Q: I’ve purchased a costume from another masquerader… How do I transfer the costume to my name?

A: Pampalam Barbados does not facilitate costume transfers. If you cannot collect your costume in person, please take the time to let us know who will be collecting on your behalf.  This will ensure a quick and smooth collection process. This notification can be done via email info@pampalambarbados.com.  Anyone collecting a costume must present a valid form of ID at the time of collection.  If you are collecting for yourself, you must have your ID.  If you have authorized someone to collect on your behalf, they must have their ID along with a copy of the email purchaser sent to Pampalam authorizing the pick up.

Q: I’m unable to collect my costume … Can another person collect on my behalf?

A: Yes, please see above for information on how to authorize another person to collect your costume.

Q: When do I collect my costume?

A: The costume distribution schedule will be emailed to all masqueraders, posted to our website and advertised on our social media accounts.  Different sections will have different distribution dates.  The final date of costume distribution is FRIDAY, AUGUST 2, 2019, after which all uncollected costumes are no longer available.

Q: I missed my collection date – what do I do?

A: You can collect your costume on any day after your designated date, however priority is given to persons collected on their designated day.

Q: What is the Fast Track service?

A: Fast Track is a priority service provided by PAMPALAM BARBADOS which allows masqueraders who have paid in full for their costumes a minimal wait time when collecting their costumes.  Fast Track persons are given top priority in the costume collection process.

Q: When do I need to pay for my costume?

A: Your down payment must be paid upon registration, otherwise your order will be incomplete and immediately cancelled.  Costumes must be paid in full prior to collection, and can be paid for in house immediately before collecting the costume (Cash, Debit or Credit Card only). Masqueraders can also make advance payments at Pampalam Mas Camp (Cash, Debit or Credit Card), online via Credit Card (Visa & MasterCard) or Paypal.

Q: How can I pay for my costume?

A: PAMPALAM BARBADOS accepts Cash, Debit or Credit Card in house, and Credit Cards (Visa & MasterCard) or Paypal online. Cheques are not accepted for payment.

Q: I’ve collected my costume but it does not fit.

A: Visit Pampalam Barbados band house and a seamstress will assist with your costume.

Q: What do I get when I come to Costume Distribution?

A: You will receive your costume bag & headpiece, filled with carnival essentials & PAMPALAM BARBADOS Wristband. Your costume is not complete without a wristband and masqueraders not wearing their wristband will be removed from the band.

Q: I have a comment / complaint – who do I speak to?

A: Please send any comments to info@pampalambarbados.com or via our feedback form at www.pampalambarbados.com.

Q: How do I join Pampalam Barbados Mailing list?

A: Send an email to info@pampalambarbados.com requesting to be added to the mailing list.

Q: I have not been receiving emails from PAMPALAM BARBADOS … what can I do?

A: Please send an email to info@pampalambarbados.com with your information so that we can update our records with your correct email address. We will send a confirmation once your address has been updated.

Q: I would like to play individual for Crop Over – who do I contact?

A: Please email the band house at info@pampalambarbados.com or contact the band house for information on individual costumes.

Q: I would like to design my own costume to play with PAMPALAM BARBADOS?

A: PAMPALAM BARBADOS does not allow masqueraders to design their own costumes.

Q: Where is my section in the band lineup?

A: The band lineup is published in the Member’s Guide which masqueraders receive at costume distribution.  Band lineup is based on a variety of factors and hence cannot be determined at the time of registration.

Q: I’m interested in providing a service / becoming a sponsor of Pampalam Barbados – who do I contact?

A: Please email our Band Leader, Simone Arthur, with your proposal at info@pampalambarbados.com.

Q: Can my husband/wife jump in the band?

A: PAMPALAM BARBADOS only allows paying masqueraders to jump in the band.  Non- masqueraders may observe from the sidelines outside the band, however they will not be allowed to participate.
